Job Summary

The Engineer, Platform Services is responsible for deploying, managing, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure and services. Engineer, Platform Services will adhere to documented Integris best practices in all aspects of Platform Services Support. They will coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as an escalation point for technical issues
• Collaborate with co-workers and senior technical resources to resolve any problems/situations that may arise
• Document technical aspects of new and existing offerings for use by Engineers and Administrators
• Use approved policy and process guidance to provide standardized deployments
• Perform or direct maintenance as required
• Recommend changes to infrastructure policy and guidance
• Provide technical communications and documentation related to configuration and changes

Job Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent relevant experience required
• One or more relevant cloud platform certifications preferred
  • VMWare Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization
  • Azure Administrator Associate
• Current CCNA certification, or comparable enterprise network platform certification.

Experience Requirements:

• Generally, 3-5 years of experience in IT roles such as technical support, systems administration, or network engineering
• Experience working on IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations
• Experience with private and public cloud technologies
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
