Fulfillment Specialist

Job Summary

The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for receiving shipments, helping to maintain inventory accuracy, storing inventory, processing fulfillment requests, preparing shipments, and coordinating the delivery of products to customers. The role manages work through ConnectWise and other designated systems and ensures fulfillment-related tasks, inventory records, and asset movements are accurately documented within those systems. The Specialist collaborates with Procurement, Technical Services, Projects, and the Provisioning team, whose activities impact inventory records and asset accountability, to support efficient fulfillment operations and inventory integrity.

The Fulfillment Specialist partners closely with Technical Services and the Provisioning team to ensure hardware is available when needed to support customer deployments and internal initiatives. The role may assist with hardware benching and other deployment support activities as requested.

Job Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Control

  • Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming product deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and customer-owned inventory within ConnectWise and other designated systems.
  • Conduct physical inventory audits; reconcile variances and investigate discrepancies.
  • Monitor and document inventory movement withing designated systems to support inventory accuracy and asset accountability.

Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Process fulfillment requests through the ConnectWise.
  • Receive, pick, pack, label, and ship equipment to internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery of customer and internal orders.
  • Partner with Technical Services, Projects, Procurement, vendors, and the Provisioning team to ensure equipment is available and delivered according to business requirements.
  • Assist the Provisioning team with hardware benching and other deployment support activities as needed.

Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Operations

  • Store, organize, and distribute inventory within the fulfillment center.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.

General Support

  • Provide operational support and assistance to departments across the organization as needed.

Job Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or procurement support — preferably in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or IT distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise CPQ, IT Glue, or similar systems.
  • Experience working with major IT distributors (Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, D&H).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
